Hey friends! Valentine's Day is less than a week away so I wanted to share our Valentine's Day baskets we put together for the kids! We way overspent on Christmas so I wanted to keep V-day to a minimal but still make them feel special!
Dollar Tree has the cutest stuff and has really stepped up lately with their variety! I stopped by there last week and picked up a couple baskets and some cute, useful gifts. With everything being $1, I was able to keep each basket to $5 + tax plus an extra $1 for the baskets :)
Here's a breakdown of their gifts!
1) something to snuggle with
(because what child doesn't love a little snuggle buddy!) Iliana and Jaxon both LOVE puppies so I thought these were so cute!

2) something to learn from
Iliana loves puzzles and Dollar Tree always has a ton for all ages and skill levels. Iliana is easily conquering the 24-piece so I went with a 48 this time. Jaxon is obsessed with books.. for now :) so I got him a new one about Pirate Animals!

3) something to play with
Dollar Tree had this sparkly, ombre princess crown for Iliana and I found a nerf-like football for Jax that makes noises when you throw it!

4) something they need
We always need cups and Iliana drools over these everytime we go in there. We're still unicorn-obsessed so I got a unicorn cup for her and an Elmo sippy for Jaxon.

5) something to snack
Iliana's fave candy is the little Smarties candies so I grabbed a bag of those and of course, no candy for the babe so Goldfish it is for him :)

That's it! Hope this gave you some inspiration! Do you put together little gifts for your kids for smaller holidays like Valentines and Easter?
** none of this was sponsored, just all my opinions :) **
